WHAT WE ACHIEVED!!

  • 68 volunteers helped set up
  • 397 volunteers helped pack and clean up
  • 90 volunteers are doing deliveries
  • 64 children volunteered their time and effort
  • 1350 Bags of Love* were packed
    - estimated value of $250 each

  • 80 'House Bags’* were packed for Safe House workers to distribute on an as-needed basis
    - estimated value of $350 each

  • 80 'Toy Bags’ were packed for Santa to distribute to children
    - estimated value of $350 each

  • A $5000 cheque was received from Allison Monkhouse to help children being relocated settle into their new schools

  • $22500 grants were dispersed to Safe Houses

  • Incredible humanity and kindness was demonstrated by men, women and children of diverse cultural and religious backgrounds 
​ * A Bag of Love is a red canvas shopping bag stuffed full of gifts ranging from toiletries, other essentials and some lovely gifts including accessories, treats, journals and more.
** A House Bag is a humungous bag full of items for Case Workers to distribute to the women in their care on an as-need basis including hygiene products, household products, dinner sets, clothing, bed linen and more.
