impact has, in recent years, proactively offered Refuges grants a couple of times a year.

The $48,500 worth of grants impact were given out in 2018 and were used by Refuges ato provide:

• art and garden therapy programs
• children's outings over the holidays
• establishment of a new children's play area
• clothing for women and children who arrive with nothing but the clothes on their backs
• vocational training for women
• community inclusion program
  
• therapeutic programs which help women and children heal after the trauma they have experienced
  
• doonas and pillows
  
• activity packs for children at temporary motel accommodation who are impacted by family violence (prior to relocation to Refuge or alternative housing)
• mykii cards
• and more
