Donating money and goods isn't the only way to help impact: volunteering is a great way to make an impact.

One of the many great things about volunteering is its visible impact. Not only will this motivate you to keep on giving, but it will also give you this amazing feeling of accomplishment.
5 reasons to volunteer:
  1. Volunteering gives you the chance to meet new people, improve your confidence, have fun and feel good
  2. Volunteering lets you develop transferable skills
  3. Your CV can benefit from skills like teamwork and leadership that you develop through social action
  4. Volunteering can provide a real boost to a charity or a cause that you care about
  5. Studies have shown that people who volunteer their time tended to live longer than those who don't.
Ways in which you can volunteer:
  • assist at a set up or packing day
  • offer to become a volunteer driver
  • assist at working bees
  • arrange a collect-a-thon
  • attend an event
  • join a Committee or the Board
  • have an idea and run with it
  • 'like' and 'share' impact's facebook and instagram posts

impact acknowledges the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People as the First Peoples of Australia, the traditional owners of the lands and waters throughout Australia: lands and waters which have never been ceded.
We recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community and we pay our respects to their peoples, their cultures, their languages and to their elders past, present and emerging.
