Straight women are not the only victims of Relationship Abuse.

Relationship Abuse occurs in all family/relationship structures including:
  • male perpetrators against female victims
  • female perpetrators against male victims
  • male perpetrators against male victims
    and
  • female perpetrators against female victims

Relational Abuse also includes:
  • child abuse
  • parent abuse
    and
  • elder abuse

Violence and abuse is NEVER OK regardless of the gender, sexual preference or sexual identity of either the victim or perpetrator.

Many men find it particularly shameful to admit to being victims of relationship abuse - they should not be. It is never appropriate to be abused - not by a man and not by a woman.
