A donation as small as $25 will buy:

  1. Bulletsome security with a new SIM card
    Women living in crisis accommodation often need a new SIM card to enable them to receive a new mobile phone number for security reasons.

    OR

  2. Bulletthe opportunity to reconnect with her family with a Telstra phone-away card
    Women isolated from their families need to be in contact with their loved ones in their time of crisis. This is an easy and inexpensive you can help out.

    OR

  3. Bulletthe ability to purchase some basic food or hygiene products



A donation of only $50 will:

  1. Bulletbuy simple, engaging toys and games such as totem-tennis, connect four, etc
    Make it easier for these over-tired and over-stressed mums to engage in play with their children to heal and restore their relationships with them.



$100 will:

  1. Bulletprovide the basic school supplies and clothing a child needs when moving schools

    OR

  2. Bulletprovide money for the purchasing of groceries, metcards and medications

    OR

  3. Bulletmake a significant impact to one woman without a Permanent Residence Visa for one week
    as she is not eligible to access CentreLink assistance.



A gift of $100-$500 would:


  1. Bulletfund a child to attend a children's or family camp
    Family violence often causes damage to the mother-child relationship and often causes the child to disengage from social groups and communities.
    Attending camp is a great way to encourage children to re-engage with others.
    Family camps offer reparative environments and programs for the mother-child relationship.

    OR

  2. Bulletservice or fix a woman's car
    enabling her to attend medical and legal appointments independently.

    OR

  3. Bulletpurchase some urgently needed disability aids such as shower/toilet chairs, portable hoists, TTY phones, self-opening doors, access ramps, etc
    A woman's disability, or that of her children, can still be a barrier for that woman accessing crisis accommodation.
